At 611, our North Star is planting churches in global cities.  There is nothing like the local church.  It's the apple of God's eye (Zech. 2:8. Ps. 17:8).  It's the leaven that spreads throughout culture (Mt. 13:33-34).  It's the mustard seed that grows to greatness (Mt. 13:21-32).  It's also the overlooked city (Micah 5:2; see Bethlehem model).  But she is God's city and His holy nation ( Mt. 5:14, 1 Pet. 2:9).  God is all in on the church.

Every church plant is a laboratory for the gospel, a nexus of innovation.  There's nothing like the gospel's power to adapt, surprise and reveal the love of God.  Every church plant requires on-the-ground intelligence from the Holy Spirit to draw people to Jesus in creative ways.  The message of salvation never changes, nor the gospel.  But how we deliver the Good News is the joy in the journey.  Our methodology, tone, and strategies must be informed by the city and culture we are planting in.  We become all things to all men so that by all possible means we might save some. We do all things for the glory of God and under the rubric of the gospel  (Rom. 9:21-23).

611 will host conferences, symposiums and forums to explore creativity for the gospel and how God is speaking to our plants to create best practices.
